SPOTLIGHT — Amy Ing and Anthony Herdii have taken their love of costume design, prop making and coordinating events to the next level by opening a shop called "Spotlight!"

Whether you're looking for a costume for your next theme party or theatre production, Amy and Anthony will make sure all eyes are on you. As the owners and creators of "Spotlight," they have a combined 25 years in the costume industry. They love focusing on the details in order to help customers get into character for their next great event. "Spotlight" has costumes for both purchase and rent. The selection is endless with Character Costumes, Theatre Productions, Historical Costumes, Costumes for Themed Events and more.

The shop selection doesn't stop at costumes. It also carries a vast selection of accessories, including theatrical makeup, hats, wigs, masks, shoes, wings, jewelry, decorations and props.

When it comes to events, Spotlight does it all. They can help from staging an event to creating decorations for simple gatherings to an elegant soirée. Spotlight also has a Maker's Space and two studio spaces available to rent for classes, workshops, or events.

Spotlight will be hosting their Grand Opening Saturday, Nov. 30. Open House will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. Immediately following there will be a Costume Fashion Show and refreshments served.

The store is at 135 W. Jackson St. Cookeville.
